TicketReveal lets you turn a gift into a ticket someone opens from a link. This page says what we store to make that work, and nothing more is collected than is listed here.

What we store when you make a gift

• What you type onto the ticket: the name of the show or place, the location, and the dates.
• Your note, and your name if you choose to add it.
• The design you picked.
• A keyed, one-way hash of your IP address (the address itself is not kept), used only to limit how many gifts one connection can create in an hour.
• A scrambled version of your private manage link, so only someone with that link can change or delete the gift.

What we store when a gift is opened

The time it was first opened and how many times it has been opened. We show this to the sender on their manage page. We do not store who opened it or anything about their device.

What is kept in your browser

When you make a gift, your private manage link is saved in your browser so you can get back to it on the same device. We do not use cookies or advertising.

Visitor counts

We count page views using Vercel Web Analytics, to see how many people use the site and which pages they visit. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and does not build a profile of you. It records the page, the referring site, and the general type of device and country. For gift and manage pages, the part of the address that identifies the gift is removed before anything is recorded, so a visit cannot be tied to a gift.

Who can see a gift

Anyone with the gift link can open it, so only send it to the person it is for. Gift pages are hidden from search engines. Do not put anything on a ticket or in a note that you would not want the person with the link to read.

How long we keep it

A gift link stops working 90 days after it is made, and the gift is then deleted from our database, normally within a day. You can also delete a gift at any time from your private manage link, which removes it straight away. If you have lost that link, we cannot tell which gift is yours without it.

Where it is stored

The site is hosted on Vercel and gifts are stored in a Supabase database. Both act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for a copy of information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
